Anna studied at the Glasgow School of Art and at the ENSA Paris-Belleville in France before qualifying as an architect in 2018. She previously worked in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Vicenza in northern Italy, where she developed her interest in working with historic buildings, and joined OCA Studio in 2014 as an architectural assistant.
She has been involved in a wide variety of projects, ranging from coordinating and delivering community engagement events to working on domestic, residential and public buildings. She led the practice’s work at the Category A-listed Ellisland Farm, home of national bard Robert Burns, and at the 800-year old Auld Kirk at St Monans in the East Neuk of Fife. She was Project Architect for the Egg Shed heritage interpretation and community centre in Ardrishaig which opened in summer 2019 and won an RIBA National Award in 2021.
