OCA Studio is an award-winning, employee-owned architecture practice based in Edinburgh’s Old Town. We specialise in uplifting architecture for communities, homeowners and organisations, with a focus on finely crafted, ecological design.

For over two decades, our experienced team has been delivering acclaimed buildings and renovations across the UK. We have particular expertise in working with existing buildings where we combine sensitivity to heritage with inventive, sustainable interventions.

From small-scale residential projects to larger public commissions, we bring the same level of care, creativity, and technical rigour to every project working closely with clients to create places that are both purposeful and joyful.

Sustainability is at the core of our practice. We are a RIBA Chartered Practice with RIAS Sustainable Architecture and Passivhaus-accredited professionals on our team, and we are signatories of Architects Declare. We are committed to responding to the climate and biodiversity emergency through the way we design, build, and collaborate – working with clients to deliver a net zero carbon future.
